Markideio Theatre is located in the centre of Paphos. It is situated in a contemporary building that can accommodate more than 400 people.

The theatre stages classical and modern plays, hosts concerts by famous singers and musical ensembles, organises performances by the State Cyprus Theatre, the Cyprus Symphony Orchestra, various ballet schools, dance groups and holds many other cultural events.
